Terms and Conditions for Sylvania Shores Travel

  1. Booking Confirmation:
    • All bookings made with Sylvania Shores Travel are considered confirmed only upon receipt of full payment and issuance of a booking confirmation by us.
  2. Cancellation Policy:
    • Cancellations must be made in writing via email or through our official communication channels.
    • Cancellation fees may apply depending on the timing of the cancellation and the terms set forth by the travel service providers (airlines, hotels, etc.).
    • Sylvania Shores Travel reserves the right to charge cancellation fees to cover any non-recoverable costs incurred as a result of the cancellation.
    • The client is responsible for understanding and adhering to the cancellation policies of the respective travel service providers.
    • No refunds will be provided for cancellations made less than 60 days prior to the scheduled departure date, unless otherwise specified by the travel service provider.
  3. Travel Insurance:
    • Sylvania Shores Travel strongly recommends that clients purchase travel insurance to protect against unforeseen circumstances such as trip cancellations, delays, medical emergencies, or other travel-related issues.
    • It is the responsibility of the client to arrange and purchase suitable travel insurance coverage.
  4. Changes and Modifications:
    • Any changes or modifications to the booking requested by the client are subject to availability and may incur additional fees.
    • Sylvania Shores Travel reserves the right to charge administrative fees for processing changes or modifications to bookings.
  5. Liability Disclaimer:
    • Sylvania Shores Travel acts only as an intermediary between clients and various travel service providers (airlines, hotels, tour operators, etc.).
    • We are not liable for any loss, damage, injury, or inconvenience resulting from the actions or omissions of these third-party providers.
    • Sylvania Shores Travel shall not be held responsible for any cancellations, delays, disruptions, or changes to travel itineraries beyond our control, including but not limited to weather conditions, natural disasters, strikes, or government regulations.
    • Clients are responsible for ensuring that they meet all necessary travel requirements, including passports, visas, health certificates, and any other documents required for travel.
  6. Limitation of Liability:
    • In no event shall Sylvania Shores Travel be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to the services provided, including but not limited to loss of profits, loss of revenue, loss of data, or loss of goodwill.
  7. Governing Law:
    • These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Kentucky. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these terms and conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Kentucky.
  8. Acceptance of Terms:
    • By booking with Sylvania Shores Travel, the client acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to these terms and conditions in their entirety.
